REPORTERS LOOK INTO WEATHERSFIELD TRAFFIC CAMS

The FOX 8 I-Team has been looking into traffic cameras and they made a stop in Weathersfield. Some people say if you don't speed you have to worry, but that's not the issue. The issue is policing for profit. The police are paid to protect and serve the public not make money for an out of state corporation. Wait until they start getting really greedy and start doing what they do in Maryland. They give you a ticket for one mile over. I think they should put this issue on the ballot and let the people decide if this is something we want. It's only going to get worst after those tax dollars dry up even more once Lordstown closes down. State Senator Sean O'Brien told reporters he has questions about Weathersfield's contract and is concernedi about how far is too far? Representative Bill Seitz says the contracts are really an indirect form of a bribe and wants to pass a law to ban all speed cameras in Ohio.
